Morning Devotion 21st January 2026 at DCMC Hospital

Posted on 2026-01-22

Let us be Committed to serve
By Ambassador Prof Emmanuel Mbennah, Ph.D., Chairman of the Board of Trustees, DCMC
Scripture: John 17:19 – “For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.”
Beloved brothers and sisters, this morning we reflect on the words of our Lord Jesus Christ in John 17:19: “For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.” These words are not only a prayer but a declaration of commitment. Christ sets Himself apart, dedicates Himself fully, so that others may be made holy in truth. This is the model of Christian service and leadership: a life poured out for the sake of others, a life that says to God, “Here I am.” Read More

“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”
( 1 Corinthians 15:57)
“But those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with
wings like eagles.” (Isaiah 40:31)

There is reactive agility, which responds quickly in emergencies. It can be helpful, but without
vision it risks confusion. And there is destructive agility, which is driven by anger, defiance, or
disorder. It breaks trust, creates division, and tears down institutions. Read More

This project was born from a deep desire to uplift widowed women and restore hope to families within our community. We are deeply grateful to Tanzania Health Partnership for their generous and unwavering support, without which this vision would not have become a reality. Their commitment to community health and social empowerment has enabled widows to access essential services, gain vital skills, and rebuild their lives with confidence. Together, we are helping widows live with dignity, strengthen their families, and build a brighter and more secure future for the next generation.
