Who we are
Dodoma Christian Medical Centre (DCMC) is a hospital with a charitable status ruling with the scope to be a centre for Medical Excellence by delivering Specialist and Super Specialist Health Services with High Quality and Compassionate Care to the people of Central Tanzania and beyond. The hospital is located at Imagi Hill, Ntyuka 5 km from Central Dodoma Town, in Dodoma region. DCMC started with a state of art Dental Clinic in 2007 which was followed with the opening of Reproductive and Child Health Clinic in 2008. Today DCMC is a thriving medical centre that has become the facility of choice for reliable, high-quality healthcare throughout Central Tanzania
DCMC Hospital is a Christian Health Ministry owned by the Registered Trustees of Dodoma Christian Medical Center Trust (DCMCT). The Trust was registered with the Tanzanian government in 2003 as non-government non-for-profit Organization. DCMCT is supported by the Tanzania Health Partnership non-profit charitable organization registered in the state of Minnesota, 7520 Golden Valley Road, Minneapolis MN 55427 USA

Prayer
Prayer is the mechanism by which we access the graces of the Almighty God, which we need all the time. We acknowledge our need to depend on God for courage, strength, wisdom, discernment, guidance, and healing. We approach every situation in our life and work with an attitude of prayer. We will be a community of organized prayer, including praying together every morning before we begin the workday
Integrity
Integrity pertains to faithfulness, fairness, honesty, purity of motive, and consistent pursuit of character in line with our mission and vision. We recognize that through our integrity, we honor and glorify the Almighty God. We uphold ethical standards, fostering honesty, transparency, trust, and professionalism in healthcare at all levels of DCMC life.
Compassion
We follow Christ in His attitude towards people in suffering. Lovingly we will identify with those who are impacted by pain, directly or indirectly, and we will provide care to such ones with love, kindness, empathy, and absolute commitment. We will provide the same quality of care and treatment to everyone, regardless of their social, economic, political, religious, or other status.
Accountability
Accountability pertains to a sense of duty and being answerable somewhere. Accountability is key in drawing strength and maintaining a sense of responsibility. We acknowledge that we are accountable to God, the patients and their families, the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania, our partners and donors, and to one another. We will implement processes and programs that engender commitment to accountability.

Excellence pertains to a culture of pursuing the highest standards attainable only through total commitment and God’s enabling grace. Through our commitment to excellence, lives will be saved, pain will be alleviated as quickly as possible, and the reputation of DCMC will keep growing, to the glory of God. Therefore, we will conduct ourselves and undertake every aspect of our work with utmost diligence, applying our knowledge, skills and technology in ways that bring about the desired results in the shortest time possible and ensuring value-for-money.
